My son loves this teething cat. It is soft and has an appealing face. The paws, ears and tail are super for teething babies. It also washes really well. My son took it everywhere and it is easy for a young baby to hold. The quality of the cotton is excellent.

This is the perfect size for babies. It was a great toy to introduce early on to help her learn to grasp and hold, and then later to use for teething. We didn't try to make it a lovie, exactly, but it's easy to keep in the diaper bag or to have around on long car trips, so that is a good use for it. For some reason the whiskers on our "Katie Cat" point down, so it's lovingly referred to as "Sad Cat."

My son adores his Flat Cat lovie! He's 9 months old now, and has had it since he was 4 months old. The cotton is super soft, and my son loves chewing on the cat's feet. I love that it's organic cotton, so I don't have to worry about what chemicals my son is ingesting when he chews on it. Flat Cat is small enough for my son to play with easily, it's probably a little bigger than the size of my entire hand. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because the blue feet, ears, and tail faded quite a bit after only a couple of washes. Also, I wish it was another color other than white, since whites don't really stay white with little ones. I'm actually going to buy a couple more like the previous reviewer mentioned, since Flat Cat needs a wash every now and then and my son hates to part with it, and just in case we lose one. :)

This cat is super cute! I think I bought it too early for my daughter and then sort-of forgot about it when she was in her teething prime.
She is playing with it now, though. I'll set it on one side of the couch to coerce her to cruise over. She seems to find it interesting and likes chewing on the ears.
Docking one star just because it's not her favorite. Very well-made and I love that it's organic.

We have not one but four Flat Cats - three in rotation (sometimes he needs a wash, sometimes he ends up in the bath) and one in reserve - because our daughter adores him. Because he's organic cotton, I was able to "wear" him for a few days before giving him to the baby and by then he had absorbed some of my scent. Nighttime and naptime became instantly easier after that. Flat Cat goes everywhere we go, and is something familiar and comforting. Plus, unlike some bigger lovies, Flat Cat was small and light enough for my preemie daughter to handle. I love my stroller, but Flat Cat was definitely the best baby purchase I ever made.
